Dr Nader Molavi

Dr. Nader Molavi is a FRACGP-qualified Specialist GP with over 20 years of experience in general practice, addiction medicine, and chronic disease management. He holds a PhD in Addiction Sciences and is completing advanced specialist training in Addiction Medicine through South West Sydney Local Health District.

Dr. Molavi provides holistic, evidence-based care, combining conventional medicine with lifestyle and integrative approaches to support each patient’s physical and mental wellbeing.

He has a special interest in addiction medicine and is accredited by the NSW Ministry of Health to prescribe Methadone, Suboxone, Sublocade and Buvidal for opioid dependence. He also manages alcohol and other drug dependence, mental health conditions, WorkCover and CTP cases, women’s health, chronic disease, preventive care, LGBTQ+ health, and aged care.

Dr. Molavi holds the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and provides contraception, cervical screening, sexual health and menopause care.

He is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Australia and has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Molavi consults in English and Farsi (Persian).
